Great food! We had Jalapeño Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and Eggplant in brown sauce. We had scallion pancakes, sesame balls and egg rolls to start. All good! The entrees were delicious! Veggies were all fresh and portions generous. They have a wide variety on the menu so everyone will be satisfied! White rice was also served with each entree.
This place strikes the 3.5 star Chinese restaurant. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, there's reels and TikToks about the perfect Chinese restaurant lol). The restaurant itself may be a little questionable but once you eat your food, all worries will fade. It's delicious. When I called to order take out, they were abrupt, didn't ask for my name, and proceeded to shout at what I'm assuming was a staff member before hanging up. Again, may cause worry, but our food was ready at the time we asked and got it all right. Thrilled to find out the orange chicken is made with white meat! Someone said the soft noodles (lo mein) wasn't flavorful but I disagree. I thought it was flavorful enough to not overpower our other dishes. If you're on the fence of trying this place out, don't be scared and enjoy a local gem!
We decided to try this place yesterday for take out. It was the only Chinese Restaurant open on New Years Day. We had sesame shrimp, soft noodles with barbecue pork and stir fried green beans. We've never eaten at this place before and weren't sure how the food would be. We were very pleasantly surprised. The shrimp were piping hot and cooked just perfectly. The soft noodle dish (similar to Lo Mein) was delicious and the green beans were cooked and spiced just perfectly. Everything we had was really tasty and we'll definitely get food here again.
We ordered takeout from here the other day. We moved recently from north Austin and, unfortunately, there is not as much good Chinese food around here, so thought we would give this place a shot. While it likely won't be something I crave, it has some solid dishes that i think are worth going back for. That said there are tons of options... So maybe I'll try some others in the future. I would go back for the pork buns (good amount and super tasty!), And the Singaporean noodles. The sesame chicken and onion pancakes were a little too soggy. Glad, though, that there is some pretty decent Chinese food in the area!
Delicious! The service and food were exceptional! Definitely a new favorite restaurant to become a regular. :)
